There’s a new quick and convenient way to connect with your dental care team. Virtual dental visits let you talk to your care team about:

  • New or ongoing dental symptoms
  • Your dental history
  • Any nonurgent next steps you may need to take

Virtual dental care comes with no copay and is fully integrated with your entire care team and electronic health record.1

Virtual dental options include:

  • 24/7 telephone advice
  • Emails through kp.org or the Kaiser Permanente app for nonurgent issues2
  • Telephone or video appointments (after an initial assessment)1,3

Advice and appointments:

For dental advice or to schedule an appointment, follow these steps:

Call Member Services at 1-800-813-2000 (TTY 711).

Email for dental advice.

Through kp.org (Make sure you’re registered and signed in to kp.org.)

  • Go to “Message Center.”
  • Select “Compose.”
  • Select “Managing my care.”
  • In the “To” field, use the drop-down arrow to select “Dental Advice.”

Through the Kaiser Permanente app (Sign in to the Kaiser Permanente app.)

  • Go to “Get Care.”
  • Select “Email your Doctor’s Office.”
  • Select “Doctor’s Office.”
  • In the “To” field, use the drop-down arrow to select “Dental Advice.”
