About Me
Becoming a pediatric dentist provided me with the procedures and techniques for creating a positive outcome with a young child’s smile, dental treatment, and early dental experience. The birth of my child during an intense 2-year pediatric dental residency tested my limits as a mom even as it enhanced and informed my pursuit of becoming a pediatric dentist. Working with my child a few minutes each day, I refined my dental care technique with the simple tools of a toothbrush and dental floss as we established a routine for lifelong dental health. With my young child I completed my dental education.
About My Practice
A 1-year Kellogg Fellowship allowed me to provide for children in migrant camps & multiple community health clinics. In the county dental van, I treated children at local schools and helped create a baby day program. Most recently, I worked with special needs children for eight years at Providence Specialty Pediatric Dental Clinic.
How I thrive
I find enjoyment in decorating and costuming for holidays. I read for entertainment and enlightenment, collect pop-up books, love walking our beagle and exploring Oregon with my family.
